We are park operations consultants specializing in detailed analysis of current and anticipated needs to develop successful facilities. This includes design plan reviews to ensure operating efficiencies are considered, as well as developing realistic short and long term budgets that property owners can rely on.

Owner Ron Peters utilized his degree in forestry to join the New York State Parks team as a Forest Ranger.  He later combined that experience with his background in landscaping and construction to transition into management. He spent the next 21 years overseeing parks in the Hudson Valley and Western NY, including serving as director of the iconic flagship Niagara Falls State Park. The final 10 years of his NYS Parks career were as Western District Deputy Director/Niagara Operations Manager, where he directly supervised seven regional departments charged with every facet of park operations and maintenance.

Ron has the proven experience and in-depth knowledge of park construction, operation and maintenance to help maximize resources to achieve the desired objective. Due to his extensive knowledge, Ron was a principal team member on dozens of park and joint-agency projects through concept, design and construction with a value exceeding $300 million.

Ron has received multiple achievement awards during his career including NYS Parks’ highest honor, the prestigious L.L. Huttleston award for “outstanding ability in the enhancement, administration and implementation of the park system’s philosophy and development for the public good.”  Whether the project is a golf course, playground, athletic fields, campgrounds, trails, waterfront development or more, Ron has the expertise to inform design choices to improve the viability and affordability of any park related project.
